Adoption process.


 adoption process:


  • fill out an adoption application.
  • we will then get in touch with you to discuss your setup, the rabbits backgrounds and diet, which rabbits would be best for the environment you can provide, bonding etc.

  • if you already have a finished setup and meet ALL adoption requirements:

  • if you don't currently have any rabbits and are looking to adopt an already bonded pair or group, we can then proceed to the next steps, we will discuss the available rabbits and their diets, personalities, backgrounds, and any other relevant information and decide on the best pair/group for the setup you have, we can than setup a date for you to come meet/pickup your new family members and sign the adoption contract.
  • we also offer foster-to-adopt if you would like to get to know the rabbits better before officially adopting. (this is only available for already bonded pairs and groups)
  • if you already have rabbits and are looking to add another to your fluffle, we will then discuss how our bunny speed dating and bonding process works, we will discuss the rabbits personalities, diets, backgrounds, etc and decide on the best match for your existing rabbits, and proceed with setting up a date for you to bring your rabbit/s to the rescue for introductions and bonding (the initial stages of bonding will be done at the rescue prior to adoption to ensure no rabbits are rehomed to live alone and that bonding is a success)


  • if you don't have a finished setup Or don't meet adoption requirements: 
  • we never want to just turn adopters away if they don't yet meet adoption requirements, we will advise you as best we can on ways to improve your setup/care in order to meet adoption requirements (adoption requirements are there for a reason and will not be changed or compromised)

  • if you are looking to adopt but don't yet have a setup ready, please! get in touch with us prior to setting up the rabbits area, this way we can give advice and recommendations, show you the best places to buy supplies, etc. so that you can make the ideal rabbit home for the specific rabbits you are interested in adopting, and make sure that it meets adoption requirements, so that you don't go and spend a bunch of time and money on a setup that doesn't meet adoption requirements.
